Kitchen Cabinetry Sales Chart
Here’s How It Works
This is a typical setup for the mega cabinet making companies. Typically you will have the main parent company. This is followed by subsidiary companies that will supply competing companies with cabinets. Some of them are the same product, just under a different name. This company will sell to places like “The Big Blue Store” from one subsidiary and then to “The Big Orange Store” from another subsidiary and then to independent cabinet showrooms through another subsidiary, allowing everyone to have their own brand recognition.
As you can see, there are several layers of profit before you, the customer, are writing the check to pay for your cabinets.
